Tell Me Something Good

79th Annual Albemarle Area 4-H Livestock Show & Sale

Children and youth participate in a livestock show, leading pigs, goats, and cattle in an arena with sawdust flooring as judges and spectators observe from the stands; the collage ends with a group photo of participants and supporters posing with a winning pig and ribbons.

The 2025 Albemarle Area 4-H Livestock Show and Sale proved to be a huge success, showcasing the dedication and talent of our local youth! Eight excited 4-H members proudly presented their hogs, goats, a lamb and even a heifer in the show ring.
Among our talented youth, our very own Jane Jennings earned the title of Grand Champion and First Junior Showman with her hog. Her hard work also earned her 3rd place in Junior Showmanship for her lamb.
Wesley Cooper also demonstrated exceptional skill, securing the Reserve Champion title for his heifer and placing 2nd in Junior Showmanship with his heifer.

It’s wonderful to see the hard work of these young individuals recognized!
