Camden County Wins Northeast Extension County Partnership Award

The purpose of the County Partnership Award is to recognize local governments for their outstanding partnership with N.C. Cooperative Extension. We are blessed with strong local government support of Cooperative Extension in Camden County that is helping us to overcome challenges and better serve the people in our community. Camden County is supporting the effort to build an Extension Center and purchase a brand new van that will facilitate the safe transport of youth to 4-H learning opportunities. We are thankful for our County’s support.

More In My Basket

More In My Basket (MIMB) was developed in 2010 at NC State University to increase food security through education and application assistance. MIMB is a research-based program that educates families on food resource management behaviors and facilitates access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by addressing identified barriers to application. MIMB serves all of North Carolina.

Through this program we offer an educational program and food demonstration for the participants at the Center for Active Adults in Camden County. This will take place on Thursday, October 3rd at 10:00 a.m.
