Event Details:
- Location: Currituck Extension Center, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917
- Dates:
- Instruction Day: Monday, September 16th, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Exam Day: Tuesday, September 17th, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
About the Course: The ServSafe course, developed by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, is vital for food service operators, managers, and support staff. It covers critical aspects of food safety, from receiving and storing food to preparing and serving it, helping reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses.
Registration Details:
- Cost: $125 (includes the 7th edition ServSafe book and exam sheet)
- Deadline: September 9th
- Payment Methods:
- Online: Register and pay through Eventbrite
- In-person: Cash and check payments are accepted at the Currituck Extension Center within 5 days of registration (checks payable to NCSU).

- Retest: If you need to retake the exam, please contact Olivia Patchel at 252-232-2261 or via email at olivia_patchel@ncsu.edu.

- Registration fees are non-refundable but transferable to another person.
- Full registration, including payment, is required to secure your spot as class size is limited
