Did you preserve something awesome this year? Show it off at our Canning Contest, held during the Camden Heritage Festival from 10:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. on September 23rd, 2023. Contest entries are being accepted from age groups of Youth (ages 8 to 19), Adult (ages 20-64, and Senior (ages 65 & up) in the categories of (1)Fruits and Vegetables; (2)Pickles/Relish; and (3)Preserves, Jams & Conserves. Entry is FREE and “Best in Show” awards will be provided to the winners of each category. Winners will be announced and showcased on the main stage of our Camden Heritage Festival!
View the rules, judging criteria, and register your entries online. Entries must be received by Monday, September 18th at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center 120 NC HWY 343 N, Camden NC 27921. To have an entry form mailed to you or assistance completed an entry form please contact the N.C.
