2021 Virtual Albemarle Area Landscape School

On February 24, 2021, N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center will host a training for landscapers to provide an opportunity to receive N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Pesticide Applicator credits. The event will be held online over Zoom from 9 to 11 a.m. and participants must watch the entire meeting to receive credit. Topics covered will include updates on weed and insect management in turf, plant selection for NE North Carolina, and spreader and sprayer calibration review. To attend, register on Eventbrite. An email with the Zoom link will appear after registration, and a reminder email will be sent out before the meeting.
Attendees with NCDA&CS Pesticide Applicator licenses will receive two hours of N, L, D, & X pesticide credits. To receive credit, attendees must keep webcams on at all times, and/or participate in periodic poll questions to prove presence.
