Upcoming 4-H Programs
4-H Project Record Night
Join us for this information night where youth will learn about project records, the prizes they can win, and begin filling out their project record. If your youth participated in a 4-H workshop, summer adventure, evening program, club, or camp then join us on January 9th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Camden Center for Active Adults, formerly known as the Senior Center.
The program is free though please sign-up so that we have materials for your youth. Sign-ups for 4-H Project Record Night.
4-H Youth Explore Day- January
Each month will have a different theme and youth will get to explore, build, and discover together as they complete various challenges. The program is open to everyone ages 5-15, with different challenges for different ages. Our first program will be during a teach workday on January 22nd from 9:30 a.m. -12:00, in the Camden Library. The theme is winter and will include fun construction and design challenges for all ages. You can sign-up for one night, all of the nights, or sign-up each month. Registration is $5. Camden Mandatory Livestock Meeting
Mark your calendars, the Camden Mandatory Livestock Meeting for the 2019 Albemarle Area 4-H Livestock Show and Sale is January 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Center for Active Adults, formerly known as the Camden Senior Center. If you are planning on showing in this year’s show you must attend this meeting. If you cannot make the meeting then please call our office at 252-331-7630 or email email@example.com.
4-H Youth Explore Night- February
Join us as we design, explore and create on the first Thursday, February 7th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Camden Senior Center! February will be focused on movement and designing different, innovative vehicles. This program is for youth ages 5-15. You can sign-up for one night, all of the nights, or sign-up each month. Registration is $5. Sign-up for 4-H Youth Explore Night.
4-H Youth Explore Night- March
Join us as we design, explore and create on the first Thursday, March 7th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Camden Senior Center! March will be focused on designing structures that can support our lucky “pot of gold”. This program is for youth ages 5-15. You can sign-up for one night, all of the nights, or sign-up each month. Registration is $5. Sign-up for 4-H Youth Explore Night.
