N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center, is thrilled to announce Kristi Willard as its new Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) Agent. In this vital role, Kristi will lead educational programs designed to enhance health and wellness throughout Camden County. Kristi brings a wealth of experience, boasting 13 years in leading successful youth and family programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marriage & Family Studies from Brigham Young University-Idaho, providing a strong academic foundation for her practical expertise."We are incredibly excited to welcome Kristi to our team," shared Austin Brown, Camden County Extension Director. “Her dynamic energy and forward-thinking vision for the Family and Consumer Science program, coupled with her outstanding work ethic, truly sets the Camden FCS program up for success."A lifelong resident of Camden County, Kristi is eager to contribute to her community. "As a lifelong member of Camden County, I'm honored to step into a role where I can give back to the place that helped shape who I am," Kristi shared. "I'm passionate about promoting happy, healthy homes through research-based life skills and proud to support the well-being and growth of our community."Kristi will oversee the comprehensive Family & Consumer Sciences Program, which provides Camden County citizens with research-based information across key areas.
