Description:

Currituck County 4-H is hosting a workshop on Potatoes: From Farm to Table. Youth ages 9 to 13 years old will visit a local potato farm to learn about how potatoes are grown, harvested, and how they are processed for shipment to consumers. Participants will also learn about the nutrition and uses of potatoes while they prepare dishes that feature the potato.

If you are paying with cash or check please get that to the NC Cooperative Extension Currituck Center, 120 Community Way, Barco NC 27917 within 5 days after you register. This is required to hold your spot. Checks will need to be made payable to NCSU. Participants will need to wear closed-toed shoes and bring a bag lunch and if they have long hair we ask that they have it pulled back or bring something to pull it back in as we will be in the kitchen cooking.

Once you have completed the eventbrite registration please visit this link https://v2.4honline.com and complete the 4-H online registration. This will register your child in 4-H for the year.
