Albemarle Area Landscape School

The Albemarle Area Landscape School will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration. We will have guest speakers
from NC State University, NCDA, the Agrimedicine Institute, and local Extension
Centers. The intention of this program is to offer education to local landscapers
and green industry professionals on a variety of topics, including weed
identification, turf disease and management, outdoor labor safety, and pesticide
handling safety. Attending this program offers continuing education credits for
landscapers to keep their pesticide license up to date as well as Landscape
Contractor License. This annual program is a partnership between Pasquotank,
Chowan, and Currituck Extension Centers and serves green industry
professionals across the 8 most northeastern counties in North Carolina. This all-
day program is a fantastic opportunity for green industry professionals to
network with one another and gain industry specific knowledge locally, alleviating
the need to travel or pay for training and credits. Ewing Outdoor Supply is the
annual sponsor and will provide the opportunity for this to be a full day event for
attendees. Register online:  the 2026 Landscape School
