Topics will include:

  • High tunnel basics: types of structures, general uses
  • Maximizing tunnel efficiency: production planning, crop rotations, variety selection, and other considerations
  • Soil health: organic production, weed management, and small-scale mechanization

After lunch, we will tour Fair Share Farm (3868 Transou Rd, Pfafftown, NC 27040) and hear from the farmers about growing in many different tunnels.
