Quaran-TIME Challenge

While we are all adjusting to this new normal of virtual learning, we are hosting a “Quaran-TIME Challenge.”

Each week I will issue a fun, engaging project or challenge to be completed right in the comfort of your home. Please feel free to comment and/or post your pictures and videos of your completed challenge on our Facebook page. Week 1’s topic is Junk Drawer Robotics. You will make a robotic hand and a marshmallow catapult.

Supplies needed for robotic hand:

5 plastic straws, 5 pieces of string (12″long), paper, scissors, tape, and a pen

Supplies needed for marshmallow catapult:

12 craft sticks, 3 rubber bands, plastic bottle cap or plastic spoon, hot glue gun and hot glue sticks, and small marshmallows
