Cooking With Fresh Vegetables

Image of vegetablesN.C. Cooperative Extension of Currituck County is hosting several classes throughout the year called Cooking with the Seasons to help you learn to eat with the seasons. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and have a $15.00 registration fee which includes lunch, hands-on cooking, delicious recipes, and a ton of fun! The third class in this series is Cooking with Fresh Vegetables. Throughout the summer fresh vegetables are plentiful. On June 5, 2019, we will be experimenting with different and delicious ways to prepare vegetables.
Pre-registration is required. You can register online at go.ncsu.edu/whatscookingsignup or by contacting the office at 252-232-2261. Class size is limited, and reservations are made upon receipt of class fee. Payments can be made in person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center or by mailing a check made payable to “Currituck County” to 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.
