Let’s get youth cooking! We have an exciting program for any youth in the community to participate in this online series of cooking classes with Camden County 4-H.

Youth ages 5-18 can sign-up for this 5-week long program. Each week they will receive an email with information on new skills, video tutorials, two recipes, a grocery list, and a materials list. Throughout the week the youth, with their parent, will buy their groceries and make their two recipes using their new skills. At the end of each week, youth will complete a brief reflection on what they learned and upload a picture of their delicious food! This will enter them for a chance to win fun culinary prizes each week.

This is a great opportunity for youth to learn new techniques in cooking which is a Let's Get Cooking postervaluable skill they will use throughout their life! This is also a fun way for youth and parents to work together each week. Younger youth will need additional assistance which will be outlined in your weekly email where older youth will be able to thrive more independently.

You will be able to craft this program around your schedule. You will decide, based on your schedule, when to cook each week. Grab the whole family to get cooking!

The program is free to participate in but requires you to complete this pre-registration form. You will be responsible for buying the needed ingredients and materials each week. The program will begin on May 13th and finish on June 16th.
