A great way to spice up your cooking is to take it international. Beginners to seasoned cooks can join N.C. Cooperative Extension at one of our International Cooking classes. View the schedule and class descriptions below to pick the class(es) that most interest you. All classes are hands-on and tasting is a must.
Asian Cooking
Do you love Asian food? Join us on October 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. where we will be learning to roll your own sushi and cook in traditional iron woks. Class fee is $15.00.
Italian Cooking
Take your spaghetti night to the next level by learning how to make your own pasta and sauce. On November 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. learn to use a pasta maker, prepare your own bolognese sauce, and explore other traditional Italian dishes for only $15.00.
Greek Cuisine
Spice up dinner by throwing Greek cuisine into your rotation. Join us December 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to learn to make traditional Greek dishes including naan bread and baklava for only $15.00.
Pre-registration is required. Register online or contact the office at 252-232-2261. Class size is limited and reservations are confirmed upon receipt of class fee. Payments can be made in person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center or by mailing a check made payable to “Currituck County” to 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.
