pottery trays and bowlsYouth ages 11-18 are invited to join us for a day of making art on the Outer Banks on September 21. We will be leaving from the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center at 9:30 a.m. and driving to the OBX Art Studio. Youth will have their choice of pottery to paint. We’ll then take our lunches and eat outside if weather permits and take a stroll on the sound before heading home. We will arrive back at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center at 4:30 p.m. for parent pick-up. Registration cost is $45.

Pottery will be available for pick-up from the office the first week of October since it has to be fired in the kiln. There is a WIDE variety of pottery for youth to select to paint with just a few of the choices they’ve had featured in pictures below. The pottery they have available changes regularly.

This is a great way to spend the teacher workday! Make sure to bring a lunch and your creativity. If the teacher workday is canceled then a full refund will be provided. Email ali_huber@ncsu.edu if you need assistance with the registration cost as some scholarship funds may be available.

Registration is available. Your spot is confirmed when payment is received at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center and 4HOnline registration is completed. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
