4-H ECO Adventure Camp poster showing two youth canoeingCamden County, N.C. – Registration for 4-H Eco Adventure Camp, July 26th- 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., is now open! Youth ages 10-15 years old can spend the first three days of camp outside at Treasure Point 4-H Camp as they learn about water, soil, wind, solar energy and ecology. The third day will wrap up with a cookout at noon. The final day will include a trip to Jennette’s Pier to fish and learn about marine animals common to North Carolina. The registration cost is $35.

There will be plenty of excitement as youth explore nature, go canoeing and kayaking and learn about the earth around them. All participants should bring lunch, snack, water, sunscreen and bug spray since we will be outside.

Registration is available online. Your spot is confirmed when payment is received at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Camden County office and 4HOnline registration is completed. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
