4-H Culinary Academy posterCamden County, N.C. – Registration for 4-H Culinary Academy, August 7–9, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is now open! Youth ages 10-14 years old can spend three days learning how to prepare meals through hands-on learning. They will gain skills in kitchen safety, food safety, reading recipes and using kitchen appliances. Pick-up and drop-off will be at the Camden Community Park. Transportation will provided to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center, the location for the camp. The registration cost is $35.

There will be plenty of laughter during this joint camp with Pasquotank County 4-H. All participants should bring water, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes.

Sign your youth up today for this three-day culinary experience that will include behind the scenes trips to local farms and food businesses.

Registration is available. Your spot is confirmed when payment is received at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Camden County office and 4HOnline registration is completed. Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
