Collapse ▲The 2018 Northeast Ag Expo Small Grains Field Day is fast approaching. The event will be held on Wednesday, February 21st, at Cherry Hill Farms in Camden (631 NC Hwy. 343 North, Camden, NC 27921). Things will kick-off at 9 a.m. with registration and a trade show that consists of educational booths and vendors displaying their products.
The program will begin at 10 a.m., which includes presentations focused on wheat production in the areas of disease management, weed management, official variety testing, nitrogen fertilization, and mid-season management decisions. We hope that you will put this event on your calendar, and ask that you call the Camden Center of N.C. Cooperative Extension (252-331-7630) to RSVP. The Northeast Ag Expo Team is a North Carolina Cooperative Extension group that serves Camden, Currituck, Chowan, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans Counties. The Northeast Ag Expo Team holds two field days annually, which are collaborative efforts with agriculture producers, agribusinesses, North Carolina State University, and commodity groups.
