4-H Electric Energy Lock-In

Currituck and Camden County 4-H are hosting a 4-H Lock In Event for youth ages 10-18 years old, consisting of electric workshops, community service activities, and a trip to Destination Fun in Nags Head NC for a game of lazer tag and mini golf. Workshops will include the study of wind energy, an electric circuit board soldering kit, and a trip to the UNC Coastal Studies Institute in Wanchese to learn about wave energy.

Pre-registration is required. To register, please visit http://go.ncsu.edu/4helectriclockin. Registration is not complete until the registration fee of $50 has been received. This fee covers  insurance, meals, trip to Destination Fun, and workshop materials. Please make checks payable to Currituck County and mail to NCCE Currituck Center, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917. The deadline to register is May 17, 2017.

The event will start Friday June 2nd at 5 p.m. and conclude by 5 p.m. on Saturday June 3, 2017. Youth are asked to bring bedding, toiletry items, and a bath towel.
