N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center along with Camden County 4-H is busy planning a spring family event scheduled for April 2016. This event will include a family 5K fun run, 1 mile fun run, a kids 100 yard dash, along with family activities, entertainment provided by local 4-H Alumni, food, and much more! The event will be open to the public for all to enjoy. The proceeds from this spring family fun day will go towards 4-H Club Programming, State 4-H Camp Scholarships, and the Camden County 4-H Program, which exists to develop tomorrow’s leaders through hands on learning.
In order to start making plans, Camden County 4-H is currently seeking business sponsorships and donations for this large community event. Sponsorships and donations in the amount of $100 or more, “Silver Clover” sponsors, will be featured on race t-shirts. Sponsorships and donations of $250 or more, “Gold Clover” sponsors, will be featured in the program, posted on signage by the start/finish line, and have a printed logo on the race t-shirts. “Diamond Clover” sponsors, with a donation of $500 or more, will receive “VIP Status” consisting of signature sponsorship in all marketing efforts, all the above mentioned sponsorship benefits, as well as 2 free t-shirts and 2 free meal tickets for the after race meal.
